About

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a novel written by English author Lewis Carroll and first published in 1865. The book tells the story of a young girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantastical world filled with strange creatures, absurd situations, and nonsensical events.

One of the most distinctive aspects of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is its illustrations. The original illustrations were created by Sir John Tenniel, a British artist who was well-known for his work in the magazine Punch. Tenniel's illustrations have become iconic, and are considered an essential part of the book's appeal and charm.

Through the Looking-Glass is a novel written by Lewis Carroll, published in 1871, and is a sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The book tells the story of Alice's journey through a fantastical world, much like in the first book, but this time, instead of a rabbit hole, Alice enters the world through a mirror.

Like its predecessor, Through the Looking-Glass is known for its surreal and nonsensical nature, as well as for its humorous wordplay and memorable characters. The book introduces a new set of quirky characters, such as the Red Queen, the White Queen, and the Jabberwocky, which have since become iconic figures in popular culture.

The book is also notable for its illustrations, once again drawn by Sir John Tenniel. The illustrations in Through the Looking-Glass are just as whimsical and detailed as those in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and have become an essential part of the book's charm.
