Anatomy improv'd and illustrated with regard to the uses thereof in designing is a book on anatomy and art, published in 1723. The book was written by Charles Errard, an artist and member of the Royal French Academy of Painting and Sculpture, and includes contributions from other prominent figures in the field of anatomy and art, including Bernardino Genga, Giovanni Maria Lancisi, and Michael van der Gucht.

The book is intended to provide artists with a detailed understanding of human anatomy as it relates to the creation of realistic and anatomically accurate art. The authors draw on their knowledge of the bones, muscles, and other structures of the human body to provide detailed descriptions and illustrations of these structures, using both text and copperplate engravings.

One of the unique features of Anatomy improv'd and illustrated is its use of antique statues from Rome as examples of anatomically correct art. The authors compare the features of these statues to the anatomical structures of the human body, providing artists with a practical understanding of how to depict these structures in their own work.

The book was originally intended for use by the Royal French Academy of Painting and Sculpture, but it was also widely read by artists and anatomists throughout Europe. It was considered an important work in the development of anatomical knowledge for artists, and it influenced the work of many artists in the following centuries.
