Illustrations of Animal Skeletons is a multi-volume work by Edouard Joseph d'Alton, published between 1821 and 1838. The work consists of detailed illustrations of the skeletons of a wide range of animals, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish.

Each volume focuses on a different group of animals, with the first volume covering mammals, the second volume covering birds, and subsequent volumes covering reptiles and fish. The illustrations are highly detailed and accurate, with careful attention paid to the proportions and structures of the skeletons.

In addition to the illustrations, the volumes also include detailed descriptions of the skeletal structures of the animals, as well as information on their classification and natural history. The text is written in French, but translations into other languages were also published.
