Metamorphosis Insectorum Surinamensium is a book on insects written and illustrated by Maria Sibylla Merian and published in 1705. The book is a groundbreaking work on insect metamorphosis, and features detailed illustrations and descriptions of insect species found in Suriname, a Dutch colony in South America.

Merian was a German-born naturalist and scientific illustrator who spent several years studying and documenting the flora and fauna of Suriname. Metamorphosis Insectorum Surinamensium was the result of her work, and is considered a landmark publication in the field of entomology.
